InFocus Projectors Selected for Government Program

Educators within the Cayman Islands Government Ministry of Education are integrating technology into curriculum delivery in the classroom. The effort aligns with the government’s ITALIC Programme Equitable Access requirements focused on using technology to improve teaching and learning in schools. InFocus projectors are a valued tool and have become an integrated part of their teaching under the new initiative.

“The InFocus X1A and LP540 have made a huge difference in teaching and have allowed students to create presentations in power point and other computer programs to share with the class,” said Ann Hale, Programme Manager for ITALIC.

Ann added, “We are continuing to revise and revamp our curriculum to integrate technology. As we move forward, one of our objectives is to create more dynamic learning environments to enhance education and InFocus projectors will play an integrated role.”

As a result of the technology initiative and important use of InFocus projection, students and faculty benefit from increased learning retention and development of presentation skills.
