Jaggies
A video problem when star-like lines appear where there should be straight or smooth lines.
Jitter
A video problem when the displayed image is unstable of shakes.
JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)
A working committee under the auspices of the international Standards Organization (ISO) that is attempting to define a proposed universal standard for the digital compression and decompression of still images for use in computer systems. The JPEG algorithm reduces image size by as much as 65:1 while maintaining image integrity by eliminating imperceptible color information.
