Model Check Lamp Hours Reset the Lamp Timer
LP1000 Press the Menu Button. The lamp hours appear on the status bar above the menu. Press and hold the Left Mouse button on the keypad, then press the Menu button. Hold both buttons down for 5 seconds.
LP120 Press the Menu button, then select About. If the maximum lamp time of 2,000 hours is exceeded, the lamp will not light. The lamp must be replaced and the lamp timer reset before the projector will operate. Press the Menu button. Go to Settings > Service. Select Lamp Reset. If reached 2,000 hour life, Press and Hold the "Volume+" button and then Press the "Volume -" button and hold for ten seconds to reset.
LP1200 When lamp reaches 1000 hours the LED near the keypad will alternate flashing red and green.  At 1300 hours, the lamp will shut off. Press the Left Arrow, Right Arrow and Power buttons simultaneously.
LP130  Press Menu button, then select Status. Lamp hours appear in the Status window.  Press and hold the Reset button. Then press the Menu/Select button. Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds.
LP210, LP220 The Lamp Monitor LED on the connection panel lights when there is 150 hours left on the lamp. At zero hours the lamp switches off completely. Press and hold the two Brightness buttons on the keypad for at least 5 seconds. The Lamp monitor light goes out after reset.
LP 225 Press the Menu button. Lamp hours are shown on the status bar above the menu. Press and hold the two Brightness buttons on the keypad for 10 seconds, then release. Verify that the Lamp Hour counter was reset by pressing the Menu button and viewing the counter on the status bar.
LP240, LP250 Press the Menu button, then select About. If the maximum lamp time of 2,000 hours is exceeded, the lamp will not light. The lamp must be replaced and the lamp timer reset before the projector will operate. Press and hold the Volume + button. Then press the Volume – button. Hold both buttons down for 5 seconds.
LP260 Press the Menu button. Go to Settings, then select Lamp Age. Press the Menu button. Go to Settings. Select Lamp Age. Press Select again to display the message,"Lamp Replace Monitor Reset?". Select Yes.
LP280, LP290 Press the Menu button. Go to Setup > Service > Info.  At 2,000 hours the Alarm LED lights red, indicating that the lamp needs to be replaced. Press the Menu Button. Go to Setup > Service. Select Reset Lamptimer.
LP330, LP335 Press the Menu button, then select Status. Press and hold the Volume – button, then press the Menu button. Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds.
LP340, LP340B, LP350 Press the Menu button, then select StatusAfter 2050 hours the LED flashes orange and the lamp will not light until the lamp is replaced and the timer reset. Press and hold the Volume –, then press the Menu button.  Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds.
LP400, LP420, LP425 Press the Menu button. The lamp timer appears in the Status bar above the menu. Press and hold the Left Mouse Button, then press the Menu button. Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds.
LP425z, LP435z Press the Menu button, then select Status.  Press and hold the Left Mouse Button, then press the Menu button. Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds.
LP500, LP530 Press the Menu button, then select Status. After 2,000 hours the lamp will not light until it is replaced and the lamp timer is reset With the projector menu closed, press and hold the Volume – button. Then press the Source button. Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds.
LP540 Press the Menu butto. Go to Main > Settings > Service > Service Info. Press the Menu button. Go to Settings > Service > Lamp Reset.
LP550, LP560, LP570, LP580, LP580B N/A N/A
LP600 Press the Menu button, then select About. At 2,000 hours, the lamp will no longer ignite.

Press the Menu button. Go to Main > Settings > Service. Select Lamp Reset. If the lamp hours have exceeded 2,000 hours and the lamp will not light, t urn the projector on and wait one minute. Press and hold the Volume + and Volume – keys for ten seconds.

LP610, LP620 N/A.  Replace lamp when the Lamp Monitor Indicator LED lights. To reset the Lamp Monitor Indicator, press and hold the two Brightness buttons for 10 seconds.
LP630 Press the Menu button, then select Status. Automatically reset when a new lamp is installed.
LP640 Press the Menu button. Go to Main > Settings > Service > Service Info. Press the Menu button. Go to Settings > Service > Lamp Reset.
LP650 Press the Menu button, then select About.  If the maximum lamp time of 2,000 hours is exceeded, the lamp will not light. 

Press the Menu button. Go to Main > Service. Select Lamp Reset.  If the lamp hours have exceeded 2,000 hours and the projector will not start,  press and hold the Volume – button, then press the Volume + button within 3 seconds. 

LP690 Press the Menu button. Go to Advanced > Service > Info. Press the Menu Button. Go to Advanced > Service. Select Reset Lamp Timer.  Note: To reset the lamp timer, you must have an active source connected and displayed on the projector.
LP70, LP70+
  1. Press Menu button.
  2. Go to Setup > Service > Info.
  3. At 2900 hours, the Lamp LED lights.
  1. Press Menu button.
  2. Go to > Setup > Service.
  3. Select Reset Lamptimer.
  4. Press Select button again to confirm reset. This will also turn off the Lamp LED.
LP720, LP725, LP730, LP735 Press the Menu button. The current lamp hours are shown at the top of the menu. After 2,000 hours the LED near the keypad lights. After 2,050 hours the lamp switches off completely, and a new lamp must be installed. LED and lamp timer automatically reset when a new lamp is installed.
LP740 Press the Menu button, then select Information.  At 950 hours of lamp use, the Lamp LED blinks slowly. After 1000 hours, the LED blinks rapidly. Press and hold the Track and Sync buttons, then press and hold the Power button. Hold all 3 buttons down for 3 seconds.
LP740b Press the Menu button, then select Information.  At 950 hours of lamp use, the Lamp LED blinks slowly. After 1,000 hours, the Replace Lamp information box appears on the screen. Press and hold the Track and Sync buttons, then press and hold the Power button. Hold all 3 buttons down for 3 seconds.
LP750, LP755 Press the Menu button, then select Status.  After 3,000 hours of lamp usage, the LED on the keypad lights yellow. LED and lamp timer automatically reset when a new lamp is installed.
LP760 N/A N/A
LP770 Press and hold the Up and Down arrow buttons, then press the Enter button. The Status menu appears and shows the lamp hours. After 1500 hours, the Lamp LED blinks Green and Red.  After 1900 hours the word, LAMP!, appears onscreen for one minute.  After 2,000 hours the lamp shuts off and the unit will not project until the lamp is replaced and the lamp timer is reset. Press and hold the Left and Right arrow buttons. Then press the Power button. Hold all 3 buttons for 5 seconds.
LP790, LP790HB Press the Menu button. Go to Setup > Service > Info.  When the lamp timer reaches 2,000 hours, the Alarm LED on the projector lights. Press the Menu button. Go to Setup > Service. Select Lamp Timer Reset.
LP800 To display the number of lamp hours, press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds. Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds. Once the lamp hours display appears, release the Reset button.  While the Lamp Time box is onscreen, press the Reset button on the keypad. Use the Left Arrow button to select "0" (zero) on the screen.  Press and hold the Reset button for three seconds. The lamp timer will be reset.
LP810 Press and hold the Up arrow button on 30 seconds.  The lamp hours will appear on the display. When the lamp life approaches the end, the Lamp Replacement indicator lights yellow. Press the Menu button. Select Setting. Select Lamp Counter Reset. Press the Select button.  A message appears asking if you want to reset the lamp timer. Select Yes, then press the Select button.  Another confirmation box appears. Select Yes.
LP815_LP820 Press the Menu button, then select About.  After the maximum lamp time of 2,000 hours is exceeded, the lamp will not light.  Press the Menu button. Go to Settings > Service. Select Lamp Reset. To reset the counter after 2,000 hours, press and hold the Volume – button, then press the Volume + button within 3 seconds. The LED on the keypad will reset, and the lamp will light.
LP840, LP850, LP860 Press the Menu button, then choose About.  If the maximum lamp time of 2,000 hours has elapsed, the lamp will not light. 

Press the Menu button. Go to Settings > Service. Select Lamp Reset. To reset the counter after 2,000 hours, press and hold the Volume – button, then press the Volume + button. Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds. The Power LED will reset to green, and the lamp will light.

LP920, LP925, LP930 Press the Menu button. Go to Status, then select Show Status. Lamp counter automatically resets when the lamp is replaced.
LS110 Press the Menu button, then select Status.  When the lamp counter exceeds 2,000 hours, the lamp will not light.  Press and hold the Volume – button, then press the Source button. Hold both buttons down for 10 seconds.
LS700 Press the Menu Button. Go to Status > Show Status. After 2,000 hours, the LED near the keypad lights. Lamp counter and LED automatically reset when the lamp is replaced.
RP10s, RP10x Press the Menu button. Go to Setup > Service > Info.  At 2,000 hours the Alarm LED lights red, indicating that the lamp needs to be replaced. Press the Menu Button. Go to Setup > Service. Select Reset Lamptimer.
SP4800, SP4805 Press the Menu button, then select About.  Press the Menu button. Go to Settings > Service. Select Lamp Reset. If the lamp hour counter exceeded the maximum hours, press and hold the Volume + and the Volume – buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. 
SP5000 Press the Menu button. Go to Main > Settings > Service > Service Info. Press the Menu button. Go to Main > Settings > Service > Lamp Reset.
SP5700 Press the Menu button, then select About. Press the Menu Button. Go to Settings > Service. Select Lamp Reset. You can also press and hold the two Brightness buttons on the keypad for 10 seconds.
SP7200, SP7205, SP7210 Press the Menu button, then select About. Press and hold the two Brightness buttons on the keypad for 10 seconds.
X1, X1a, X2, X3 Press the Menu button, then select About.  The lamp turns off when the counter reaches 4,000 hours.  Press the Menu button. Go to Settings > Service. Select Lamp Reset. After 4,000 hours, press and hold the Volume + and the Volume – buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
