Mondopad Gets Touched at DEMO Fall 2011

DEMO Fall 2011 took place in September this year and InFocus was a Platinum Sponsor. DEMO conferences have been consistently identifying tomorrow’s cutting edge technologies in the US and China. This year, we provided support for the event's Startup America HD Social Lounge where event presenters, speakers and VIPs were invited for photos, videos and to see real-time social media on a Mondopad.

InFocus teamed up with New Media Synergy to provide a real-time view of the event's content and social media conversations all in one place in an interactive touch enabled station. When presenters left the stage, they could interact with the Mondopad to see facebook posts, tweets, YouTube videos and other social content relating to the presentation they just gave.

InFocus Mondopad at DEMO Fall 2011 The Mondopad was also put to use for real-time event photography where the touch screen let guests navigate their photos with the touch of a finger.

New Media Synergy also created some new real-time event "magic" by using the Mondopad to showcase Marketwire’s social media monitoring software called Sysomos, which provided a deep social media analytics profile for each guest and their company.

Mondopad’s ability to let users control web-based applications, such as Sysomos, via touch screen proved to be a compelling way to show off the power of software.
