Audio

No sound from the VCR or DVD player.

Connect one end of the InFocus audio cable to the projector. Then connect the other end to the corresponding red and white audio out jacks on the VCR or DVD player. Refer to the LP925 User Guide for complete set-up instructions. (Both the audio cable and audio adapter are included with the projector. Order replacement cables from our Accessories Store.)

The projector's speaker is making crackling noises.

If the volume level is turned up too high, it could be overpowering the capability of the speaker. Try lowering the volume level. If you require greater output, consider external amplified speakers.

How to connect external speakers to the computer for better sound quality.

Connect the InFocus audio cable to the audio out port on the computer (usually the one marked with a picture of headphones). Then connect the other end of the cable to a pair of external amplified speakers.

How to connect audio from a VCR/DVD for better sound quality.

Using a separate audio cable (standard A/V cable), connect the red & white audio out on the DVD/VCR to a pair of external amplified speakers.
