Is it possible to project from a DVD player?

Yes, most DVD players have both S-Video and Composite video jacks, and you can connect the projector to either one. S-Video will give you the highest quality image. You may purchase a S-Video cable from our Accessories Store.

The image from the VCR/DVD projects in black and white or is distorted.

Check the video standard setting in the projector menu. It should be set to Auto. However, you may need to set this for the particular standard for your country. For example, the video standard in North America is NTSC. Refer to the LP925 User Guide for more information.

The DVD/VCR image is not displayed.

Make sure the video cable is connected to the yellow video jack on the VCR/DVD. Press the Source button on the projector keypad to switch to video mode.

Is the projector capable of receiving an HDTV signal?

Yes, as long as the HDTV signal is 1080i format.
