The LP925 menu style resembles the familiar Windows-style of drop-down menus. You access the menus with either the onboard keypad or the remote control.
There are five on-screen menus. Click the menu you want to see from the list below.
Adjusts the relative volume coming from the left and right speakers. Balance setting applies to both internal and external speakers.
Fade
Adjusts the balance of sound between the internal and the external speakers. This selection is not available if there are no external speakers connected to the projector.
Audio Source
Indicates the current audio source. The default source is Audio Source 1 (RCA connectors). The other sources are: Audio Source 2 (RCA connectors, Audio Source 3 (3.5 mm stereo mini-jack) and CableWizard.
Turns off the cropping of the video signal normally performed on for VCR inputs so that the full image appears for DVD signals. The default setting is On.
Image Position
Allows repositioning of a native or 16x9 video image to the top, middle or bottom of the screen. The default position is the middle.
Resize
For computer sources, automatically resizes a non-native image by scaling it
up or down. XGA images are not affected. VGA and SVGA images are scaled up to
fit the screen. SXGA images are scaled down to fit the screen.
When Resize is on, the projector makes the best fit of a VGA or SVGA image to
the screen by adding lines to the image. If this produces an undesirable result,
turning off Auto Resize will make the image smaller than the screen. However,
the image will be sharp.
For video sources, Resize allows four different resizing options. Standard
resizes original version to fit the standard 4:3 aspect ration screen.
Widescreen Letterbox preserves the 16x9 aspect ratio of the original
theater version, but the image is placed in a 4x3 space, and black bars appear
on the top and bottom of the image. Enhanced Widescreen is meant for
content labeled Enhanced for Widescreen TVs. This option provides more
detail than the Widescreen Letterbox option. The Native option
effectively turns Resize off, and shows the image in the projector's native
resolution, which 1024 x 768 XGA. Video is approximately a 640 x 480 resolution,
so the resulting image will fill only part of the screen.
Auto Image
Auto Image automatically adjusts tracking, signal synchronization and vertical and horizontal position for most computers.
If the automatic tracking, synchronization or position is not acceptable for a given computer, turning off Auto Resize allows manual adjustment.
Manual Sync
When Auto Image is off, allows manual synchronization adjustment. This control used when Auto Image is
selected but the projected computer image still looks fuzzy or streaked.
Manual Tracking
When Auto Image is off, allows manual tracking adjustment. This control is used when the Auto Image feature can’t properly track a source,
resulting in evenly spaced, fuzzy, vertical lines, or a projected image that is too wide or too narrow for the screen.
Horizontal Position
When Auto Image is off, allows manual horizontal positioning.
Vertical Position
When Auto Image is off, allows manual vertical positioning.
Zoom
Allows an area of the screen to be magnified 2, 4 or 8 times. When Zoom is selected, a box appears on the screen, which can be moved using the disc mouse. Pressing the right mouse button magnifies the box location by a factor of two. Three mouse clicks magnify the image by eight times. The left mouse button zooms out at the same rate. Pressing the left mouse button at the 1x level turns the Zoom feature off.
When in the Auto mode, the projector attempts to detect the video standard (NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL or SECAM)
automatically based on the input signal it receives. (The input signals for SECAM, PAL-M and PAL-N can’t be automatically detected,
and thus must be selected manually.)
Standby Time
Allows the user to specify how long before the projector turns itself off after the Standby button is pressed on the remote or keypad.
In standby mode, the lamp stays on and the blank screen is displayed. Standby mode allows a quick restart because the lamp doesn’t need to re-strike.
Select among 1, 5, 10, and 15 minutes and 1 and 2 hours by clicking either mouse button and cycling through the options.
Ceiling Projection
When selected, inverts the image so the image appears correctly when projector is mounted on the ceiling.
Rear Projection
When selected, reverses the image so the image appears correctly when shown from behind a translucent screen.
Default Source
Selects which source (computer or video) the projector checks first during the power-up sequence. Options include Computer 1 and Video.
Indicates whether a computer source is analog or digital.
Auto Source Select
When selected, the projector automatically stays locked on to the active source, and the Source button on the keypad is disabled.
When off, the user can switch between sources.
Plug and Play
Plug and Play can be disabled for trouble-shooting purposes and for compatibility with certain computers.
Computers with BIOS date of July 1997 or later should be compatible with Plug and Play mode. When Plug and Play is disabled (turned off),
all EDID data is forced to zeros.
USB: Mouse button
Sets the action for the mouse buttons when the projector is set up to control the PC pointer. The default setting is Left/Right (for left and right mouse buttons). The other available setting is Page up/Page down, which is useful to advance slides in Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. To use this feature, a type B USB mouse cable must be connected. This feature is available only for Computer RGBHV, Computer VESA, and CableWizard sources. It is not supported on Macintosh computers.
USB: Inhibit screen saver

Display Messages
When Display Messages is set to On, status messages such as No signal detected or Standby Active
appear in the lower-right corner of the screen. When Display Messages is set to Off, the status messages don’t appear on-screen.
Display Startup Screen
When Display Startup Screen is set to On, the InFocus start-up screen appears when the projector starts up
and remains on the screen until an active source is detected. When Display Startup Screen is set to Off,
the projector displays a plain black or blue screen. For information about blue and black blank screens, see Display Menu.
Indicates how many hours the current lamp has been in use. The counter starts at zero hours and counts each hour the lamp is in use.
The lamp counter must be reset manually when a new lamp is installed. For information about resetting the lamp counter,
see ‘Removing and replacing the lamp module’.
Computer resolution
Shows the currently selected computer’s resolution setting.
