NOTE SP7210
firmware is not compatible with the SP7205 projector.
Installing incorrect firmware in a projector may
damage the projector or void the warranty.
Installing new system firmware in your ScreenPlay
7205 projector allows you to keep up to date with
new features and options as they become available.
The About menu displays the firmware version
that is currently installed. To open the About
menu, press the Menu button on the keypad, then
select About.
To perform the upgrade from your PC, you'll need the optional M1-DA Digital Computer Cable with USB (part number SP-DVI-D) or the optional M1 To VGA/USB-A Cable (part number SP-DVI-A). Cables can be purchased from your local reseller or online in our accessories store.
The self-extracting file contains firmware
installation instructions. For a successful upgrade,
follow the instructions carefully. Avoid interrupting
the firmware upgrade once you've started it from your PC. Disrupting the upgrade process by removing cables or disconnecting the power before the upgrade completes can damage the projector. Projector damage caused by disrupted, incomplete or aborted upgrades is not covered by warranty. All shipping and repair expenses for projector service stemming from incomplete firmware upgrades are at customer expense.
